Airline Commander and Crew Mentor, Qrewmentor helps and guides crew members to access jobs with honesty and professionalism.

I won’t make it, I don’t have time.
It’s too much material.
All the concepts are new, and the words!

I don’t know how others do it, but honestly I won’t even if I don’t sleep for 2 months.

These are phrases that we,at Qrewmentor often hear (phrases that each of us have said in the past) and that we understand very well.
Learning is a capricious activity, it is not always the same, neither in time, nor in content, nor, of course, in people.

Aeronautical learning has, in addition to that, some very special conditions such as:

Concepts that are not given in primary or secondary school. We do not give venturi, bernoulli, the effects of depressurization, jet lag, etc.

Words that are only used in aviation, layover, 5 legs (flights), red eye flight (early bird), debriefing and thousands more that are in our day basis, but that a person who starts must learn from scratch.

3-letter abbreviations that fill our manuals and procedures, ATC, VOR, BKN, ETA, LHR, SPD, ALT, so many that we even have abbreviation dictionaries.

And we have to adapt all those things, words and concepts to the personal characteristics of each student, to their learning times, to how they handle it with their personal life (which we also have) and at a time (AND HERE COMES THE USUAL OVERWHELMING ) determined by the academy, by civil aviation or by the company.

That is why most of us “suffer” I am going to put it in quotes because it can become a positive stress, anxiety during tests, trainings and so on.
And it is for this very reason that people look for a definitive company and stay calm with their flights, their companions, their destinations and their known courses.

Except for some of us (Qrewmentor DNA) who seek, explore and accept that change (sometimes for the better, sometimes for the not so good) is coming and see testing, training and learning as a luxury within aviation.

Most airlines, civil aviation and academies know that time is limited, they also know that each person learns in their own way and that aviation generally gives you 2 (YES, THERE ARE USUALLY 2) opportunities to take an exam, test or training.

So those of us who teach (who are also students) must emphasize the idea that each person is unique and that we must try to adapt to the student as much as possible.

It is our responsibility.

The student’s one is to give the maximum possible.
Let’s not forget, each other.

Until then, find peaceful skies.
