Virgin uniforms
Virgin Atlantic, in a new twist in its airline policy ,has published this week the availability of its crew to wear the type of uniform they prefer regardless of gender.

The company founded by Sir Richard Branson, already gave a coup with the tattoo policy (they can be visible with the uniform on, unlike the vast majority of companies).
The opening of conditions in a profession that is usually traditional has been very commented from both sides.

Taking measures of this type is always something to talk about and always generates more extreme conceptions of life both to one side and to the other.
And what do we think at Qrewmentor?
At Qrewmentor we are in favor of people and diversity and we always try to make that concept appear in our posts, reels, videos, product info, books and courses.

Respect both, the policy of more modern companies in their thinking and the traditional ones.
There is room for everyone and (as we teach in the courses), all respectful perspectives fit.
What hasn’t changed is the fact that the uniform remains distinctive, elegant and cohesive.

As we have been saying in previous blogs, humans have a certain natural cadence to prefer homogeneity in clothing and colors.
Hence, we look for the makeup to match the skin that each one has and with the corporate tones of the airline we represent.
And that is why during the presentation of the ‘choose your uniform’ video, it continues to be in corporate colors and with rather traditional lines (more traditional than the uniforms of Play airline or the Eurowings’ sneakers).

What is clear is that post-pandemic aviation is changing not only in market levels but in areas such as looking for elements that differentiate, such as comfort or actions of language and inclusive life.

Fly happy and mutual respect.
Until then, may you find peaceful skies.
