AIR NOSTRUM is doing assessments in Spain these months.

Regarding our experience with the students we have sent, we think that it is a serious and strict company in its entrance tests, as well as in its training.

Of course, there will be many opinions (one for each person who has had a relationship with the company we are talking about today).

Today’s blog will try to explain a bit what tests they do and how to be more prepared for them, so that they waste less time on their tests and we know what they are looking for and we can prepare ourselves better.

When you get there they start with the requirements, and Air Nostrum has (as of today) very clear requirements and (as far as we know) meets them.

Some are from legal regulations and others from internal regulations, but both kinds are requirements that we must comply with.

Good presence. (It is internal company regulations, but logically you have to go well groomed and with a natural smile).

This is where tattoos come in, in fact it is the first thing they ask for and look at.

Visible tattoos are not accepted.

If you have any questions, ask there. Because the visibility of certain tattoos often depends on the uniform worn at work.

So if they are very clear and visible they will tell us no (company policy) and if they are a bit hidden we will have to ask them, so , go to the call.

18 year old (Legal regulations to be able to work as a Cabin Crew)

Have completed at least 1st year of high school or intermediate or higher level training cycle.

Have validated studies (it is important that if you are not validated you do it, because not only this company asks for it, but many do it both in Spain and in their respective countries).

Height between 1.65 and 1.80 (it is internal regulation, but they comply with it). We mean that if they doubt they will measure you and there it will be clear whether or not you are within the parameters that they ask for.

Fluent English (B2). Italian (B2) will be valued. In fact, one of the interviews is in English and during this they value the use of this language.

Know how to swim (requirement of the legal regulations to be able to work as a TCP in Spain).

Residence and work authorization (as you can see, it is not a European passport, so the range of nationalities may be greater as long as you are legally able to work in Spain).

They do psychotechnical tests (that’s why at QrewMentor we prepare this type of test), so as not to be eliminated.

They do group dynamics and if you don’t participate you’re left out, so in a cautious and polite way, always participate.

This usually happens in the first phase (or the first day). In the second there are 2 interviews.

One in English, where they ask us about ourselves and about situations we have experienced.

Almost always (not only in Air Nostrum, but in most companies) there are situations that include:

A stressful situation.
One of conflict with clients or colleagues.
One of teamwork.
The one in which we have contributed something to the company.

The interview in Spanish can also include similar questions, in addition to some future ones where the airline wants to ensure our loyalty in the medium, long term.

25 most important questions to pass an airline interview
cabin crew, interview, questions

As you can see, they are not simple tests, they generally demand and comply with what they demand.

The advantage of preparing them (besides having a better chance of success) is that the preparation is useful for many other companies.

So preparation and luck.

In the meantime, find peaceful skies.
