Stress in aviation
Stress is unavoidable.
There’s always a certain tension before a scenario or event that is about to arrive or in which we are involved.
Little can be done to eliminate it. It is true that after decades of flying it is reduced and even minimized based on “flight hours” which is what we call the experience in our environment.

Hence the talk of positive and negative stress and it is these differences that we are going to talk about briefly today.
The negative, is basically an anxiety produced by a scenario that we think is going to happen and the concern for it.
Once my friend Javier (his a psychologist) told me:
- It is very important how people speak to themselves (English “self talk”), because words, which must be used with precision, build thoughts and thoughts determine the emotions that cause our stress, anxiety or our predisposition to live life with more joy and tranquility.

- The Internet and its networks are full of these things (how to lower heart rate, how to reduce anxiety, how to meditate, how…) And practically everyone knows what to do to relax (it’s a natural act).
- The difficult thing (even more in our days) is to persist in the actions and create the habit of eliminating stress, reducing it or renaming it.
- As Naval Ravikant says: “We say we seek peace of mind but we seek peace of our own minds.”

- So one of the areas that we always touch at Qrewmentor is renaming and therefore reducing stress. It is not stress or anxiety.
- It is a challenge, it is a novelty, it is something that you have never done or that you have done with better results. It is something that you would return (and with us you will return) to try, with a different vision, more leisurely, calmer and more positively.
- A vision of life with a smile. And from this concept (that of “challenge” or challenge, the game concept) we look for the ability of people to enjoy a selection process, a training, a flight, a change of base or company.

In this way, little by little, our world of aviation, so accustomed to stress, complex scenarios and worries, can gradually change to a more relaxed scenario with challenges every day that can be solved individually or as a team.
Until then, may you find peaceful skies.
