In an airline selection and training process there are 3 areas that we must know and cover in order to pass them successfully.
They are based on the time it takes us to acquire them and today we are going to talk about them.
They are divided into three.
Skills, knowledge and attitudes.
SKILLS:
In environments like ours, it is the easiest to acquire (as long as we have a minimum of ability to perform the task in question).
In high-performance environments such as sports, arts, etc., ability can be the most complicated element, but in the activities where we focus today, it is not.
Examples would be, flight ability, handling of equipment and materials, normal or emergency.

KNOWLEDGE:
They are the ones that are based on study, experience and sharing both with co-workers.
They require more time and that is why it is an element that is based a lot on compound interest.
Days, weeks, months, years reading, studying, sharing aeronautical knowledge is an extremely important value in the world of aviation.
For example.- Procedures, memory items, regulations, etc.

ATTITUDES:
It is the most complex of all. The ability to know how to behave, to be available, to know or be predisposed to work in a team.
Education, the predisposition to learn, to understand criticism.
Knowing how to connect with other cultures, listen, empathize, absorb situations, lead, suggest, etc.
Examples of this would be leadership, the way of working in teams or accepting criticism as learning.
It is in the latter where we can find more problems since the learning of attitudes is very slow, very based on early education and more expensive to change.
We have to remember which of these 3 elements are our strong points (and use them) which are our weak points and protect them and try to learn from them and from ourselves.
Until then, find peaceful skies.
