Shortly after the pandemic, the aeronautical market recovered in Europe.
The reality is that in Europe the market from the point of view of the crew and pilots is a bit sad.
Let’s see how things are:

On one hand we have the flag carriers (British Airways, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, Iberia…) that fight (and clearly lose) in the European domestic market with the Low Cost (Ryanair, easyjet, Wizz Air, etc.) which also fight among themselves to be more efficient and confusing (in our opinion) that mistreating the passenger and on many occasions the workers themselves is synonymous of efficiency.

The reality is that the low cost companies suffer from the natural anger of their own workers (strikes at Ryanair, easyjet, Air Europa among others this year) and the consequent flight of crew members to other companies where the winds blow with better conditions.
This is why Iberia express does more open days than it needs, that Vueling, in the middle of a cabin crew strike, tested for new ones to enter (Same conditions as those of the strike? Or even worse?), that Ryanair requests crew members because it cannot cope with their flight in its growth in 2023, that other companies cannot cope with the bottleneck that the initial training of their flight workers suppose.
On the other hand, the long distance of the European companies compete against the companies of the Persian Gulf, and the Asian ones.

China has not yet woken up after the pandemic and its effects more on pilots than on Cabin Crews will be felt in Europe.
To all this we must add the launch of RIA, the Saudi airline that can further shake up the market in terms of hiring and crew conditions.
And as icing on the cake is the increase in the fleet in business jets (Vista Jet is growing a lot this year) with the market share of high to very high end customers, which has practically ended with the First class in many airlines.

In short, a very troubled market, which for Qrewmentor, we think will continue in this line (taking into account the ironic ability of aviation to change all our plans and predictions) for a while, as long as pandemics, wars, crises and others world events respect the recovery.
Good luck in the meantime, find peaceful skies.
