Airline Commander and Crew Mentor, Qrewmentor helps and guides crew members to access jobs with honesty and professionalism.

The timeline of a Cabin Crew can be divided into two paths at first, but one way or another they will both end up in the same place.
And it all depends on the first step we choose, which, as we will now see, is not that important.
For some, the first step of a Cabin Crew is to go to an academy and learn the basics that every cabin crew needs.

STEP 1: ACADEMY
This is what we,at QrewMentor call the Cabin Crew pyramid.
The most important part is safety.
Knowledge of how to deal with any circumstance that occurs on a flight with the available resources of the plane.
That is why we study emergency material (fire extinguishers, oxygen, ramps, doors, etc) and procedures (evacuation, depressurization, first aid…).
The second part is Security (security) and from there we have to study Psychology, conflicts on board and security regulations, both at airports and within the plane itself.
Then there would be customer service, such as helping and serving our passengers during their flight experience.
This part generates the Cabin Crew certificate that is valid in a certain territory depending on the regulations that affect us.

For example in Europe (EASA). STEP 2: TCP CERTIFICATE.
People who do not go to an academy from the start can start their time line by entering a company that does not require a previous qualification (EMIRATES, QATAR, RYANAIR, IBERIA EXPRESS as examples) since the company itself gives you such degree.
The natural step is to try to use our degree and investment by working in an airline. And that’s step 3.

STEP 3: MARKET.
Who is hiring right now? We call that the state of the current market.
It is determined by many factors, the economy, security (wars), the price of energy, international growth, etc.
The next step is to send our availability and values to the companies that are currently hiring.
That’s why we use our CV.

STEP 4: CV
For this, it is necessary to have a competent CV, well structured, organized and with skills and experience that can add value to the companies.
The next step is to prepare for the interviews and different tests that we have to pass.

STEP 5: THE INTERVIEW
How well we defend our CV ,the experience we have and our capacity for analysis and learning is the key.
Once the tests are over, we have the last phase, the initial training, where we will learn the particularities of the company, its way of operating and the type of clients and human and material teams with which we will work once the course has passed.

STEP 6: THE INITIAL TRAINING.
Here the material is specific to each company, the planes, security and customer service.
It is the adaptation of everything learned in the 5 initial steps to that specific airline and to that specific market.
It is then where previous knowledge comes together, makes sense and allows us to fly safely and efficiently.
Happy process.
Until then, find peaceful skies.
