The hands are the part of the body to the brain, they speak a lot for us.

In a personal interview, even more so.

We have to take into account some of the elementary principles of the hands.

Open palms is a very positive sign in interviews. When we talk it is better to show our palms than to hide them.

Palms up shows openness, sincerity and calm, not confrontational.
In an interview we DO show the palms.

Do not show palms: hidden. They hide information, intentions, hidden thoughts.
In an interview we DO NOT hide the palms of the hands.
He says yes, but does not show his hands, he thinks the opposite, he uses his hands to ensure that your answer in the interview is more real and has more weight.

Hands in pockets, means he doesn’t want to talk.
