WHAT TO WEAR? THE SUIT

A SUIT IS THE ARMOR OF A MODERN MAN. “

A suit should never be fun.

There are 3 types of suit

1.- ITALIAN: Light and neat. Ideal for little men.

2.- AMERICAN: Larger, they fit large people.

3.- ENGLISH: Elegant and structured, they are suitable for any type of body.

BUTTONS

1 BUTTON.- It is very “clean” ideal for people of short stature, but thin. To avoid if the body is thicker.

2 BUTTONS.- This is the model to choose if we have doubts. For almost any body type. Never fasten the bottom button.

3 BUTTONS.- It is the most classic, currently less common. Less ideal for broader men. The ideal is to fasten only the middle button, although the top one can also be done.

DOUBLE-BREASTED JACKET: Appropriate for thin and tall people. The short ones are very squared.

WHAT ABOUT STRIPES? Use them carefully. The bigger the person, the thicker the stripes.

How thick should the suit be?
8 ounces is the light one, 14 is winter (thicker) and the year-round is 12 ounces.

POCKETS
In English suits they are somehow larger, with lapels (they were used to protect the interior when riding a horse).
The second pocket is the ticket pocket, it was used for train tickets.

CARE
Buy 2 pants for each jacket.
Give it 24 hours of respire between laying and laying.
Dry cleaning: Rarely
Punctual stain cleaning: baby towels

BEHAVIOUR
When in doubt, keep your jacket on.
Don’t be the first to take off your jacket
The jacket button, ALWAYS loose when you sit down, ALWAYS buttoned up when you get up.
If you are introducing two people, start with the one with the highest ranking.

VEST

Fitted, not too loose and not too tight.
NEVER double-breasted vest over double-breasted jacket.

NEVER match the belt.
The shirt must not be seen through the lower part of the vest.
LEAVE bottom button undone.

First impression is very important and the suit can make a big diffrence.

Have it in mind.

Meanwhile, may you find peaceful skies.
